ECSO Summer Concert 2021
Friday, June 25th from 6:30 to 8:00pm
Doors open at 5:30pm.
NO tickets available at the door.
The Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra will once again perform at the Stonington Vineyards this Summer! This concert is a re-imagined spin on their fabulous Gala, safely distanced and outdoors, presented as a relaxed summer concert with the ECSO Music Director & Conductor, Toshiyuki Shimada, and ECSO musicians. Bring your own food or support one of the food trucks that will be onsite, enjoy a glass of Stonington Vineyards wine with a complimentary ECSO signature glass, and prepare to enjoy an evening of lighter classical music and orchestral pops. We recommend bringing a blanket and lawn chairs or whatever you need to experience a great time outdoors, including a lighter jacket as the sun sets.
There will be an online silent auction, accessible from your smartphone, tablet, or computer and will be available for bidding in the weeks leading up to the event at the Vineyard. Visit ecso.givesmart.com for more info on items and to register for the silent auction.
Stonington Vineyards and the ECSO partnered together as a result of COVID-19 when the orchestra was finding new ways to perform music with smaller ensembles as part of their Soundscape Concert Series. If you joined us last Fall for the amazing concert featuring ECSO brass and woodwinds, you know how special it is to hear orchestral music in the great outdoors with good food, company, and wine. If you didn’t, you’re getting the chance once more. Your $75 ticket is partly tax-deductible as a contribution to the ECSO, and you will be supporting their mission to "inspire, educate, and connect our communities through live orchestral music" with your attendance.
The rain date is Sunday, June 27th. Contact the ECSO with any additional questions at www.ectsymphony.com, 860-443-2876, or by emailing email@example.com
Please note: OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED ON PROPERTY. This includes beer, sparkling wine, or any other alcoholic beverage. Coolers are subject to check, any outside alcohol will be confiscated. Wine is available for purchase and enjoyment by the glass or bottle during concerts, and wine tastings are unavailable.
